dc.description.abstract | The present work is focused in designing and fabricating a matched-die compression mould for a bio-composite material, suitable for testing mechanical properties (tensile and flexural). The mould is designed as per the guidelines and is fabricated. The bio-composite material is tested for mechanical properties and the obtained results were appreciable. The fabricated matched-die mould suits for biocomposites, wood composites and polymeric materials.
